1. This privacy statement explains how Masterwork Education Private limited, doing business as STEAMIFIED, gathers, uses, shares, and safeguards personal data that we obtain from you, the end user of the Platform, which includes the STEAMIFIED website (https://www.steamified.in), microsites, applications (hereafter referred to as "apps"), and services.
   STEAMIFIED deeply values and is devoted to preserving your right to privacy.

2. According to the Information Technology Act of 2000 and its implementing rules, "This document is an electronic record. It does not need a physical or digital signature because it is a system-generated electronic record. According to the most recent rules and legislation, our privacy policy may occasionally be reviewed, updated, or changed. We advise constantly reviewing the policy to be informed of any changes. This policy is meant to supplement existing privacy policies and notices, not to replace them.

3. We have designed this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our dedication to preserving the privacy of our Website/App users ("you" or "your") as well as the confidentiality of the information you give. The information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how we store and handle it, and how we disclose it are all covered by this privacy statement. When using the Website/App from an Android mobile device or tablet, as well as when accessing any material and/or utilizing any products or services made available on or through the Website/App, we strongly advise you to read this Privacy Policy carefully. You consent to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy by using the Website/App.

4. What is the information we collect?
   
   Non-personal data - We may collect your non-personal information that does not directly identify you.
   Personal Data - we may require you to provide us with certain information that personally identifies you (also known as "STEAMIFIED Information").
   
   We categorize the information as  -
   (a) Contact Information: (such as your email address, phone number and any details of your contacts),
   
   (b) Financial Information: (such as bank account or credit card or debit card or any other payment information). Financial information such as bank account or credit card or debit card or other payment instruments details are collected by Payment Gateways through whom the subscription payments are processed. STEAMIFIED does not store or retain any such financial information.
   
   (c) Aggregated information: We may also gather and handle aggregated data, such as statistical or demographic information, for legitimate business needs. Although aggregate data may be created from personal data, it is not legally regarded as personal information because it does not directly or indirectly identify you. For instance, we might combine your usage information to calculate the proportion of users who use a given platform feature. Nevertheless, we recognise combined aggregated data as personal data that will be processed in accordance with this privacy statement if we combine or link it with your personal data and the combined data can either directly or indirectly identify you.
   
   (d) Information provided by parents/guardians in case of a child less than 18 years of age. Any information provided by admins for Educational institutions, its students and teachers during onboarding. Any information received through your access to any other social media platform (Facebook, Google, etc.) integrated with STEAMIFIED. Personal data is any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).
   
   (e) STEAMIFIED does not ask or request its user to share any Sensitive personal data or information, including physical, physiological and/or mental health condition, sexual orientation, medical history, biometric information, etc. STEAMIFIED collects only general personal information of the user so as to provide the user with access to certain information, materials and services of STEAMIFIED.
   
   

5. How do we collect your personal data?
   
   (a) Direct interactions. You may send us information about your identification, contact information, and finances by filling out forms or contacting us by mail, phone, email, or any other method. This includes any personal information you give us when you use our Platform to set up an account, subscribe to our services or publications, ask for marketing materials to be sent to you, participate in a competition, promotion, or survey, or contact us with questions or comments.
   
   (b) Automated technology or interactions that are automated: Whether or not you are a registered user, we will automatically gather technical data about your device, browsing behaviors, and habits when you engage with our platform. Cookies are tiny text files made up of alphanumeric characters that are used to store data about platform activity. These cookies assist us in traffic analysis and assist you by allowing us to adjust the Platform to your preferences. You can configure your browser to inform you when websites access or set cookies, or to reject all or some browser cookies. If you disable cookies, some features and services might not operate as intended. We also use cookies and other similar technologies to collect personal data. If you visit other websites, we might also get technical information about you from other websites employing our cookies.
   
   (c) Third parties: Cookies from Google Analytics - Google Analytics is a software that enables us to examine how users interact with our website. 6. How do we use your personal data?
   
   We may use the data we gather from you to operate our business,
   
   (a) deliver and enhance the Website/App and our services;
   
   (b) administer your account, and offer you customer support;
   
   (c) contact with you about our offerings via email, postal mail, phone, and/or mobile devices;
   
   (d) creating, displaying, and tracking content and adverts on the website/app and other websites based on your interests;
   
   (e) carry out web/app analytics; and
   
   (f) carry out the duties or provide the services that were otherwise explained to you at the time of collection.
   
7. Confidentiality, retention and security
   
   According to Indian law, the gathered personal data will only be used for specified, pre-agreed commercial objectives. We may share the collected information:
   
   (a) For any investigation, to comply with legal process, in response to a request from any of the government authorities, to enforce the terms and conditions that apply to us, our users, and Partners, or to defend our rights, privacy, safety, or property, we may share the information we have acquired.
   
   (b) with our approved partners, who adhere to high security and confidentiality requirements as part of a contract. Our Partners provide a broad spectrum of services, such as the verification of contact information, processing of payments, customer support, hosting of websites, data analysis, infrastructure providing, IT services, and other comparable services.
   
   (c) If we or our assets are merged with or acquired by another business entity, or if there is a business restructuring or reorganization. The other business entity or the combined business entity would have to abide by this privacy policy if such a transaction took place.
   
   (d) To safeguard your rights and/or those of our Partners, to enable us to pursue available remedies or to reduce the harm that may be suffered in the event that our products or the information on them are used or misused without our permission by third parties.
   
   (e) In order to fulfill the objectives for which we collected your personal information, including to meet any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements, we will retain it for no longer than is reasonably necessary.
   
   
8. How can you access or control your information?
   
   You can opt not to give us specific information, but doing so might prevent you from using some Website/App services. Notifications from the website or app may also be sent to your email or mobile device. By removing the Website/App or altering the Website/App's settings you can turn off these notifications.
   All information that you supply to and/or share using the Website/App is strictly your responsibility.
   
9. How to prevent spamming?
   
   Sending unsolicited mail messages, including, without limitation, commercial advertising and informational announcements, is expressly prohibited. A user shall not use another site's mail server to relay mail without the express permission of the site.
   It is contrary to STEAMIFIED policy for customers to use our servers to effect or participate in any of the following activities:
   
   (a) To send unsolicited mass e-mailings, if such unsolicited e-mailings provoke complaints from the recipients;
   
   (b) To engage in any of the foregoing activities using the service of another provider, but channeling such activities through STEAMIFIED provided server, or using STEAMIFIED provided server as a maildrop for responses;
   
   (c)  To falsify user information provided to STEAMIFIED or to other users of the service in connection with use of STEAMIFIED service.
   
10. Consequences of violation
    
    When STEAMIFIED becomes aware of an alleged violation of its Acceptable Use Policy STEAMIFIED will initiate an investigation. During the investigation STEAMIFIED may restrict Customer 's access in order to prevent further possible unauthorized activity. Depending on the severity of the violation, STEAMIFIED may, at its sole discretion, restrict, suspend, or terminate Customer's account and pursue other civil remedies. If such violation is a criminal offense, STEAMIFIED will notify the appropriate law enforcement department of such violation.
11. Account deletion
    
    If you choose to delete your Account, your Account Content shall be removed from the App.
    
    (a) Notwithstanding the foregoing, you agree that STEAMIFIED may continue to retain, access, process, distribute, host, translate, reproduce, edit, publicly perform, publicly display, create derivative works of, and otherwise use your Account Content indefinitely in the following cases: if you have shared your Account Content in accordance with the App functionality and this Agreement, and/or if STEAMIFIED has displayed your Account Content in the App, social media channels, or it is included in third-party or print content, etc
    
    (b) We reserve the right, but are under no obligation to, to delete an account from the App that remains inactive (i.e. the user fails to login) for a continuous period of atleast 12 months or immediately when payment expires, is withdrawn or otherwise ceases.
    
    (c) To delete your account, you are invited to send us an email to hello@steamified.in with the subject ' termination ' as well as the reason for deletion in the body of the email.
